SWAHILI LANGUAGE IS WELL SPOKEN IN TANZANIA THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY

Maurine at ifm
Swahili language is the language which originates from the coast of East-Africa and extended even to the interior and now is spoken by several countries of East and Central Africa including Congo DRC, KENYA, RWANDA, BURUNDI, SOUTH SUDAN, COMOROS, UGANDA, ETHIOPIA, SOMALIA although in all these countries the language is not well spoken and it’s just used by only few people of some areas within the respective country. But in Tanzania Swahili language is our mothertongue and it was declared a national language since independence also it is an academic language for the entire primary/elementary level education, it been used in all the medias and public offices, the language can be well spoken by almost everyone within the entire country. Different from other Swahili speaking countries Tanzania speak it with good drama and without difficulties they use it in everything, so if anyone from anywhere in the world just want to learn to speak Swahili with indigenous people Tanzania is a perfect choice where you can learn it very correctly and precisely.

Tanzanian we are so flexible and fluent in speaking Swahili language in such a way that we can run with any speed we wish we can explain things as fast as possible also we are very good in drama, in short we are really bad in speaking this language no one in this world can compare with us, I’m so proud of this,
Viva Swahili viva!

Thats true, thanks for the information and particularly in Zanzibar. Swahili is spoken even in Oman. In fact the rich swahili langauge of the past is spoken in Oman. Interesting that Swahili is an Arabic word. Meaning the Coast. Prof Ibrahim Noor has noted that the swahili grammer is based on Bantu structure, but the content is mainly Arabic i.e. Samki in swahili is Samak in Arabic, Jumhuri – Swahil, Jumhur Arabic, Miwani, kalamu, karatasi, Nyama and many words are Arabic. Interesting the Tanzania Ambassador in celebrating Tanzania’s independence or union mentioned in the local paper that Oman is the only country out of Africa that speaks Swahili widely, and the need to further develop economic, culture ties. The language and the culture linkage between Oman and East Africa, particularly Zanzibar and Tanzania needs to be capitalized in many areas. Thus Swahili has span wider and is a linkage between Arabia and Africa. Asante (An Arabic word) – Thanks
