NEW ZEALAND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR AFRICA.

Regional Focus

The New Zealand Development Scholarships (NZDS) scheme offers the opportunity to people from targeted developing countries to undertake development-related studies at tertiary education institutions in New Zealand. NZDS are a central part of the New Zealand Government’s development assistance to Africa under its Africa Regional Programme.
The New Zealand Aid programme offers NZDS to candidates from Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The NZDS scheme aims to strengthen sustainable economic development in Africa by contributing to human resource development particularly agriculture and geothermal development.
